I participated in the build of the 20,000,000 subscriber special for NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” led by Lily Hevesh. Before we came to Rockefeller Center for the build, I assisted Lily with field planning as well as making an inventory for extra dominoes and materials that needed to come to the set. I worked on designing the NYC skyline, the before and after plan for Hashtag the Panda, and the xylophone trick. When we were on the set of The Tonight Show, we had to build 3 sections of the project and knock them down separately. We started with building the dominoes on the desk leading out to the hallway. After that toppling, the team had the opportunity to meet Jimmy Fallon and we got a picture as well as a signed domino from him. Next we had to set up the dominoes in the hallway. I was in charge of building the two tracks which would take the setup through the hallway and back into the stage area. After we knocked that section down, we built the rest of the setup the following days. I spent the first few hours building the xylophone trick and making sure that it worked and was timed perfectly. Then I assisted in building the NYC skyline, the YouTube logo, as well as connecting lines. The setups all worked to perfection and the final video aired on The Tonight Show as well as gaining over a million views on YouTube.
