I was the designer and lead builder for three domino projects showcasing the diabetes medication, Farxiga, at the AstraZeneca booth in the American Diabetes Association Conference 2018. AstraZeneca laid out what they wanted me to showcase about Farxiga a month before the conference and after a series of discussions between the creative team and me, I designed the 3 domino projects to customer satisfaction. For this event, I hired Chris Wright and Nathan Heck to assist with the building. We had only 8 hours to build each 7,000+ domino project, so we had to keep our focus on building the entire day. As the convention guests walked by, we invited them to sign a domino. Each individual domino was placed at the beginning of the setup to symbolize one positive step towards the patient’s healthy life. In the end, all three falldowns worked perfectly and we attracted a big crowd for each of the projects, both during the building and during the topple. The second project was toppled by Executive Vice President and President, BioPharmaceuticals, Ruud Dobber of AstraZeneca.
